From shell to cube.
Coconut shell
Clean and dry the coconut shells.
Carbonisation
Heat the shells with restricted air to make charcoal.
Crushing & screening
Grind and screen the charcoal.
Mixing with tapioca
Blend charcoal with tapioca and water.
Forming & cutting
Form and cut into 25, 26 and 27 mm cubes.
Drying
Dry the cubes to remove moisture from mixing.
Cooling
Allow the cubes to cool before packing.
Batch checks & records
Check, label and record every batch.
Packing
Pack the charcoal for transport in 20 kg master cases.
